David has over 10 years experience in the commercial maritime industry with in-depth knowledge of the dry, gas, tanker and chemical sectors. His first position was with the APEX team analysing tanker movements.

He then gained experience in consultancy, which enabled him to work for vessel owners, managers and with both vessels and port operators. He has worked for a large London based broking house as a Research Manager with responsibility for modelling both the tanker and dry trades and forecasting future vessel demand/supply.
